GDI or Global Domains International as it is known is the official domain registrar for the .ws or dot website domain extension which got started back in the year 2000 by it’s founders and CEO’s Michael Reed and Alan Ezeir. They went through a long hard struggle to secure the rights of the .ws domain extension which was the official country code for Western Samoa.
In the first year that GDI launched, Global Domains reported that they had sold over 200,000 domains which included big clients such as Yahoo, Cisco, Dell and BMW and had customers in over 180 countries around the world. Read more
